About Nola Hearing
Nola Hearing was opened in 2012 with the goal of providing the very best hearing healthcare possible to New Orleans and surrounding area residents. For years, we have helped thousands of patients achieve the miracle of hearing again using hearing instruments.
It was Dr. Melissa Webb Duthu, AuD, CCC-A and her amibitions to help people which started the birth of Nola Hearing. A locally owned and love hearing clinic offering the very best hearing healthcare services available in the New Orleans area. Nola Hearing is conveniently located in the heart of Metairie in Jefferson Parish on Veterans close to Bonnabel at 1700 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Suite 200, Metairie, LA, 70005. After knowing her great grandmother was hearing impaired, she knew this was the path she wanted to pursue in life helping people suffering from hearing loss. It was difficult seeing a family member suffer from hearing loss and witnessing the quality of life without the help of hearing aid insturments.
In 2012, that dream became a reality after pursuing her Doctorate in Audiology, graduating in 2011. Nola Hearing’s mission is the provide each and every patient with the care they would expect as if they were the only patient Dr. Melissa would see all day. When our patients arrive to our practice, they are greeted with friendly office staff, hot coffee and even cookies to enjoy. We strive to provide a comfortable atmosphere for our patients so we can discuss a path forward to a better quality of life using any of the multiple choices of hearing aids we offer. It was Dr. Melissa’s mission to be able offer all brands available to her patients so they have plenty of options to choose from.
