WOW! What can I say about NOLA Hearing, Dr. Melissa and Brittany that would be outstanding enough? Ahhh yes..THEY ARE TRULY OUTSTANDING!!! I have been an employee of United Airlines (formerly Continental Airlines) for 39 years. I started my career in 1974. In my early years at the airport, I was exposed to loud noise, specifically from jet engines, but also from various ground support equipment that had loud, turbine engines. Over a period of time as a result of the noise exposure, I experienced nerve damage that greatly deteriorated my ability to hear well.
Last year I made an appointment with Dr. Duthu. She readily identified the specific problem I had and recommended a state of the art set of hearings aids. I had worn hearing aids before, but never the type (Siemens) Dr. Duthu had ordered for me.
While my hearing will never be 100%, it is nonetheless greatly improved. The aids that I received from Dr. Duthu are very comfortable.
The best thing I appreciate about NOLA Hearing is the follow-up. I have made several follow-up appointments, and each and every time I have been accommodated immediately. I have never had a problem scheduling a follow-up visit. Dr Duthu is always available and extremely patient. Her assistant, Brittany, is equally helpful.
I would highly recommend NOLA Hearing to anyone who needs help with hearing issues.

It has been a most rewarding experience dealing with you and Brittany. As you know being hard of hearing is very frustrating and somewhat embarrassing to say the least, however, in dealing with you, I have never felt this way.
Each time I have been to you office, I have been made to feel welcome and have received the type of treatment which is professional, courteous and pleasant.
There have been times when I was not sure I was placing the aid correctly in the ear canal and you always took the time to go over the technique with me without making me feel that I was being a pest or taking up your time for something I should have been able to do.
A very important aspect has been that you did not rush me and make me feel that I was taking up your time. As you get older, it sometimes takes a bit longer to understand new procedures and I appreciate your patience with helping me become familiar with my hearing aids.
