Learn more all about Nola Hearing’s in-house Doctor of Audiology, Dr. Melissa Webb Duthu, AuD, CCC-A. I grew up in Metairie and have strong ties to the community. I am a graduate of John Curtis Christian School. I attended John Curtis from kindergarten through the 12th grade. I received my bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from LSU in 2003. I completed my Masters in Communication Disorders from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in May 2005, shortly before Hurricane Katrina. I returned to school in 2009 shortly after my wedding and completed my Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida in April 2011.

My great grandmother was hearing impaired and I always knew I wanted to help people, that is what made me want to get into the field. I chose to set up my practice in this area because I grew up around here. I currently reside in Metairie with my husband, David, and our son, Luke. We have two dogs, Peanut and Scooby, and a cat, Calli. Learn more about Nola Hearing and how Dr. Melissa has become a locally loved choice for hearing health services.
